Im an author of STATION64. The full featured synth for C64.

The main advantages are:

- 3 voice polyphony or unison for fat sounds
- full 3 osc control via midi
- use midi channel -> sid osc mapping for flexible control
- fine tune for each osc
- 2 lfo/env (4 stage) with apply to pitch/pulsewidth/filter cut
- total monitoring all midi activity
- advanced glide and pitchwheel control
- fast on-screen help
- zero latency (on real Commodore)
- tested on C64 / C128 (in c64 mode)
- works with 8580/6581 on PAL/NTSC (auto detection) machines
- screen-off for more clean sound from SID
- configurable with any MIDI cartridge (if you have a problem - write to me)
- works with any disk drive (+some additional features for SD2IEC users) to load/save created programs banks
- 16 programs (can change from external midi too)
- 100% original code, without any KERNAL use
- control any parameter of synth via midi

The last version available here http://www.fotoreporter.su/v2/?page_id=276

Yesterday i receive Kerberos interface. It was tested and it's work fine with all features.

Hope you enjoy the product.

There aslo available full featured manual. Feel free to ask and please report bugs.

Thank you

Very cool! Can I include it when shipping new cartridges? Would be much better than my synthesizer test program.

Regarding the low level SID commands, maybe implement the SIDstation protocol: http://koti.kapsi.fi/paulus/asid_protocol.txt Because then any software which supports it can use it. I think there is even a SIDstation VSTi plugin and a SID-file player.

Yes, you can. It will be very pleasured for me. It's a base version. Now i develop version with internal arpeggiator. And use it together with synth. Anyway, i'll be develop this tool further :)

Did you mean control SIDstation from my synth? Or anything else?

Thanks. My idea was that you could implement the SIDstation protocol in your synthesizer for MIDI-in, instead of inventing your own low level SID commands. Then anyone with a C64 and a MIDI interface could use it and don't need to buy a SIDstation, if they want to use a real SID in their music production setup.

Very nice idea. Control SID chip by using SIDstation protocol. Try to do it further.

Ho there
Great work. Once again I'm surplus ed to all support on synth apps for the great c64!
I just e couture 1 prob: once loaded, even with sequencial emulation , synth starti but works only with c64 keys. No midi at all. I tested many midi channel but no think.
Any suggestion that can help me start with midi?
I use a roland usb to midi that works prettamente nice with all connection possibile.

Think si in avance....i'm sure is a silly thing that i cannot figure it out immediately.

Hello there. The Station64 set to DATEL interface type on default. If you use other MIDI interface type try next within STATION64:

go to SETUP (F4 from any mode)
go to MIDI folder (CTRL 2 times)
set custom midi regs settings.

for sequential interface:

ctrl reg  DE00
status reg DE02
TX reg DE01
RX reg DE03

reset cmd 03
enable cmd 15
irq emable cmd 95

next go so save screen (F8) and save this settings for further use. May be i do some like default midi interface in further version.

I just downloaded station 64 and it works great! I'm triggering it with Ableton live, and also tried it with a midi keyboard. Really nice to see new synth programs being developed for the C64. Would love to hear about further developments, thanks!
