This topic is to describe any symptoms you experience with KPRF and how
you deal with them. When symptoms occur, what makes them go away? How
often do these symptoms occur? What do believe is the cause of these
symptoms?

I find that the flushing /burning attacks happen mostly in the early
evening. Is this the case for anyone else? Other factors for me are the
obvious things like heat, alcohol etc.

KPRF,

I totally agree with you. I'm usually somewhat okay during the day. The
worst flushing attacks always seem to come at night. I do flush during
the day sometimes but the intensity is definitely greater at night.

Heat has always been a huge flushing trigger but I would say the
biggest for me is simply stress. I also blush a lot too and the
blushing then turns into a longstanding flush.

I live in the midwest where the winters are very cold. The worst part
for me now is drastic changes of temperature. I'm out in the cold for a
prolonged period and then go inside to a warm house, I will most
definitely flush for a while. But this only happens when I go from
really cold to really warm.

I agree that stress is a major trigger for my flushing. Mostly,
though, I just have very bright permanent redness. When I was younger,
I had the KP bumps on my cheeks, but they are almost completely gone
now. Things that trigger my redness even further are: cold, heat,
touch, and spicy foods.
