This topic talks about how people are affected by the skin redness of
KPRF and also by the flushing part of this condition.

The flushing is most definitely worse for me but I often wondered if I
would flush as much if I didn't have red cheeks to begin with. So much
of this condition becomes psychological. I can usually stand a little
redness or pinkness on my cheeks but when my face is "burning up"
(flushing) its hard to concentrate on anything but the flushing and I
become a totally different person. The uncomfortable feeling is
extremely hard to deal with and trying to act normal when I know my
face is very red and hot.

I only flush every now and then, but it is very hard to get it to go
away when I do. The best remedy I have for getting the flushing to go
down is to set in front of an air conditioner vent, LOL. The permanent
redness is much worse for me, however. It seems to be minimal in the
morning, but out of control by afternoon. I always wear foundation and
will not leave the house without it. I have great skin and would love
to not wear makeup -- but I gotta cover these cheeks!
