The goal of this topic is to share our age, where we live, and our
first flushing experience we can remember as well as the first time you
can remember being bothered by having red cheeks.

I am a 21 year old male from the Milwaukee, WI area.

My first flushing experience I can remember was in my junior year of
high school during homecoming week. I was playing ping pong during a
pep rally in front of the whole school...mind you at this time I was
very outgoing. I had a great time, got the crowd going and everything.
Once I sat back down amidst the crowd, my face started burning up and
flushing like nothing I had ever experienced.

Other than that, I can always remember having somewhat red cheeks when
I was younger especially when I would play sports or something like
that. My first few years of high school I began to be really bothered
my red cheeks. But no flushing until I was 17. From that point on it
just seemed to get worse and worse until I got things somewhat under
control.

I'm a 22 year old female from the south. I've had the KPRF since I was
born. The first time it ever bothered me was when I got sent home in
the first grade for having too much blush on. Flushing is not always
my major problem (except in the summer or when I eat spicy foods) but
the redness is permanent. It also gets worse when my face is touched.
My father and sister also have KPRF but surprisingly, mine is much
worse than theirs. Theirs is "cute" while mine is clown-like! I
started wearing makeup when I was in fourth grade and very rarely have
I gone a day without wearing foundation. I have learned to accept it
as I got older, but it is still a pain to explain to people.

Hi i am 16 and i do not flush much anymore, i am guessing it has
something to do with puberty but, i do have a red tint to my face
mostly on my cheeks, chin, and ears. But when i blush normally now it
only last like 5-10 minutes but its still worse then normal blushing, i
do have Kp on my chest and arms. For the KP side i do find sun can
sometimes help clear it up some, though it is not recommended. But i
found this from living in florida.
