Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the 5th edition of our Deep Learning for Biologists course.

Dates: 23-27 November (online)

Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/course67/

This course offers a hands-on introduction to applying Deep Learning methods to real biological data. In particular, we will focus on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and their use in classification, regression, and image segmentation tasks.

Participants will also gain a solid understanding of key statistical learning concepts, including model evaluation, cross-validation, overfitting, and generalizability — essential for building robust and reliable predictive models.

If you are interested in strengthening your skills at the intersection of biology and artificial intelligence, we would be delighted to have you join us.

Please feel free to share this opportunity within your network.

Best regards,
Carlo
