No tutorial seems to be up to date. Can't determine in what order should Scipy TensorFlow and Keras be installed. Each of them installs their own version of numpy and other libraries so I'm having multiple versions of it in my environment and get DLL errors and things like that. Can anybody give me a step by step instructions on how to install working Keras? Funny thing is I had it installed few months ago and I didn't touch it for a while but now it just won't work. I reinstalled Anaconda and created and deleted dozens of environments, I'm struggling with this for 4 days, please help.

The second solution here for this worked for me on three occasions about a month ago.  It was important for me to make an environment with python 3.5.  I could not get it to work in python 3.6.
Cheers,
Michael

I followed this tutorial http://inmachineswetrust.com/posts/deep-learning-setup/ but I had to install tensorflow at the and from the official tensorflow website for it to work. Trial and error....

Sounds like this is on Windows? If so, you could create a linux VM and see if you have better luck with that. Otherwise I'd try installing tensorflow if it includes keras, and see if that relatively recent build pulls in the best of the rest of what you need automatically.

In my case, starting about a week ago I installed tensorflow directly, then keras from conda, and was ok until I installed bazel today, which updated some things that broke tensorflow, so I just updated dask, whatever that is, and that fixed tensorflow, but bazel looks cryptic to configure, so I'm running with unoptimized tensorflow on a mac laptop to keep my room warm.
