Help with contribution

I want to help with contribution to keras_core but I am not familiar with the architecture .

Can some one explain to me keras_core/layers/layer.py:439: (# TODO: handle layout.) what is needed to be done here ?

Nothing, in fact, this is outdated. I'll remove the TODO. You can check out https://github.com/keras-team/keras-core/issues/481 for a regularly update list of items open for contributions.
