Minister of Industry and Commerce are trying to permit the Import of
Natural Rubber up to 25000 Tonnes at 20.46 rupees of import duty to
fullfil the deficiency in India. Please take a look at this post

about the availability in India. The import earlier to the peak
production time November to January is with an aim to reduce the
price. Already Grading exploitation under the pretext of visual
grading system is going on. In April 2010 the price difference between
RSS 4 and vyaparivila in Malayala Manorama was Rs. 5/Kg and in August

without any reason? Import of Natural Rubber will be a reason for
price hike in the International Market. The bulk import before peak
production time will provide the co-operative socities to export on
lower rates to reduce the price.
