Also good to refer to our website it has (or must have) an evaluation report on small (household scale) vetiver wetlands of about 10m square for new housing projects in Aceh (where many new houses are built since the tsunami).

And the works of the famous Bali development project – several pics on protection of schools, houses on steep slopes.

In Cameroon it is now known by farmers that a Vetiver hedge around the house keeps snakes away! (so much for keeping the place around the house clean – it is OK but make an exception for the V-hedge)
