59th Nairobi Chess Club Championship - 23rd & 24th September 2017

Dear Friends,

I have enclosed a poster and detailed information about our flagship event for 2017.

Please note the tight deadlines;

Deadline before penalty surcharge of KES 400 - 19th September 2017

Entries will close at 4pm on 21st September 2017 at 4pm.

After payment by MPesa to (0704-179797) players must register on https://kenyachessmasala.com/tournament-registration.  If you do not register then your name will not be entered into the draw.

Spectators and accompanying persons (no fee) must also register to comply with the security requirements of German School.  Registration is done here https://kenyachessmasala.com/tournament-registration.  This rule is strictly followed.

Note that there are two sections - Open Section (basically for those FIDE rated about 1800 and those who feel that they are strong enough).  Limited entries 16 players only with only 4 rounds of 2 hours each.  Start time is 9am on 23rd Sept 2017.

U1800 Section for those without rating.  Start time is 12.30pm on Saturday 23rd Sept 2017.  Limited entries as well.  5 rounds with 90 minutes per player.

Both sections will be FIDE rated.

Competitors and spectators should part at Village Market.
