ION2G ALE

[Kentucky Winlink Net]

Anyone have any experience with using ION2G for ALE?  Thinking about doing some testing with a custom Kentucky Winlink Codeplug for ION2G ALE.  

For those wanting to look at ION2G visit https://ion2g.app/. ?For those wondering what is ALE?  It stands for Automatic Link Establishment.  Basically you dont need to know all the fancy propagation math.  ION2G would try to establish a connection between two stations on each channel on the code plug, until it made a link.  Once the link is established then you would do your normal Winlink processes.  Or at least that is how I have it playing out in my head.

This would just be an enhancement to the net for those who wanted to test it and not a requirement.  You would still be able to send in your check-ins the way we do now,

That's an interesting topic and would be cool. I seen it in use one time but I don't think it was with winlink. I'm excited to see it work for winlink. Best of luck and if it works I'll give it a try
