October 17th KYW ***Great Shake Out Event***

Hello Fellow KWN participants;

This week we are going to participate in the Great Shake Out event with our friends out in Los Angeles at LAXNORTHEAST ARES.  I want to thank Oliver Dully K6OLI for inviting us again.  A PDF of instructions on how to send in your report can be found by clicking HERE

A couple of important notes:
1) Be sure to CC: AF4Y on the same line you CC: SHAKEOUT (see page 10 on instructions)
2) In the Additional Comments box of the DYFI form be sure to place KWN in that box (see page 9 of instructions) This is how we can search to see who from our group participated on the map.
3) NO P2P messages these need to go via either a gateway or telnet

Try to send in your reports on Thursday 10/17 as close as you can to 10:17am your local time.  If you send in early or after 10:17 on 10/17, I believe they will still count and should show on the interactive map that our friends at LAXNORTHEAST are championing.
