***Special Note: This week in Kentucky, most of us will be participating in the statewide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, March 4th at 10:04 EST. I want to ask those who are willing to use the Severe WX Report form built into Winlink this week. You will find the template by starting a new message, then selecting the template button at the top of your message window. Then navigate to Standard Forms and expand it. Towards the bottom, you will see Weather Forms; expand it. Then you will double-click the Severe WX Report.txt form. For this exercise, let's all pretend like there is a tornado at our location and power lines are down. This form does not auto-populate the TO: field, so remember to add AF4Y to that line and mark your message as Peer-to-Peer if sending as VARA HF P2P. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Please note the P2P schedule changes below. If you do not want to participate, send in a regular check-in like a normal week. ***
***NOTE 1: Use JS8CALL to check if your signal is being received by AF4Y. I suggest adding @KYWN to your call groups and then sending a "SNR?" to the group.
All check-ins should be addressed to AF4Y
***RMS Gateway or Telnet Schedule***
Please feel free to check in anytime during the week, after the notice is published. You may use a standard Winlink check-in form or the Kentucky Winlink custom form found by clicking here.
