EMS Skills Instructor Position at EKU

The Emergency Medical Care Program at EKU is in need of EMT assistants for our evening classes.  The position is posted as an EMT Assistant in the EKU HR website - https://jobs.eku.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/frameset/Frameset.jsp?time=1405514847878.  The position pays $14.00/hour and your position would be to assist an EMT instructor 2 days/week in the evenings.  The weekly hours generally do not exceed 8-12 hours / week.  Most of the assistance is in the form of skills demonstration and competency development.  You do not have to be registered as an EMS instructor with KBEMS.  You do need to be an EMT or paramedic with a Bachelor degree.  An EKU faculty member would be the lead instructor.  Just a note:  many folks have earned their EMT instructor status by assisting with these classes.
