Today two surprise common species but not for this time of year especially as its still so cold, I would expect them to still be hibernating, today’s little sun seems to have change everything, with bees feeding on an early flowering tree/bush, plus a flying Red Admiral butterfly perched on a laurel leaf to soak up the Suns warm rays. How things can change. The Great Tits were singing, but a female Blackbird showed well feeding on fallen apples , now that is an expected winter scene, and a pleasure to watch.
