Somewhere along the line I accidentally typed my password into the username field on a website in Chrome. Now every time I go back to that site my password is shown as an option to fill as my username. I didn't specifically save the username/password combo, it is just the little drop down that appears when you start to type.
When you type in a form field, a menu may appear, containing past text that you've typed in the field. To delete a specific piece of saved text, select it in the menu using the arrows on your keyboard, then press Shift+Delete.
I had trouble finding the site using Settings -> Show Advanced Settings -> Managed Saved Passwords, but was able to find the site using Then you just click the X to delete your username/password for the site.
I am using Chrome Version 54.0.2840.98. What worked for me was looking to the top right in the address bar. A key pops up. You can click the key and it will show you the list of available logins for the username you are filling in.
Sorry, some of those don't work at all. I tried the highlight shift delete several times. Doesn't work at all. I don't want to delete all my passwords. So those aren't helpful. The only one that works is fn shift delete. Thanks.
Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.
I joined Spotify in 2013 using my Facebook login. I want to delete my Facebook account but I am concerned it will delete my Spotify account. I'd really prefer not to create a new account as I have 50+ playlists that have the year I discovered the songs in. Also, I have Premium.
If you created your account through Facebook, you can still keep it and all your saved music after deleting your Facebook profile. Check out this Spotify Answer and follow the steps for option 1.
Hi! if you delete your Facebook account, it won't delete your Spotify account. If you want to take extra precautions you can by unlinking your Facebook account before you delete it, but I can assure you everything will be fine if you delete your Facebook account.
Hey, I too want to permanently delete my facebook account for the sole purpose of unlinking the connection between my facebook and spotify account (apparentaly I signed up with facebook). I want to do this so that I can edit my email, age and other stuff on my account since it's grayed out. Will I have the option to reconnect to another facebook account after this?
I requested to delete my Facebook account today but the account will not actually be deleted for 30 days. I have followed the steps outlined in option 1 and reset my Spotify password. However my Spotify account is still showing my Facebook profile picture. Is this sufficient so that when my Facebook account is actually deleted in 30 days I will not lose my Spotify?
If you've set a password for your account, you should be able to log in with your email address and password in the future. The only thing that will change is that you won't be able to log in via Facebook. All your playlists and account data should stay the same.
The good news is, even though your personal profile and business page look like they are inextricably connected, no one but you can see that connection. Facebook treats them like two separate entities.
Once you have entered the company information, you will be asked to upload a profile picture and a cover photo. It is good practice to use your logo as the profile picture. It helps with brand recognition and provides consistency to your online presence.
Just because you created a business page does not mean the two profiles will show up as linked on the social media platform. Anything you post on your personal page will stay there and not show up on your business page, and vice versa.
Again, being in a related industry, a good portion of what they share will be relevant to you as well. It can give you inspiration for fresh content for your own business, as well as an opportunity to interact with the people engaging with the story.
Well written article with the screenshots and all. Easy to read writing style and love the straight-forwardness without a truckload of commentary and links to promotions. Going to give you a follow. Thanks!
Thank you for the above, what im having trouble with is being up to find a way on my business page to like and follow other businesses can you advise me on how to do this without it defaulting to my personal page?
Thanks
My personal page was hacked and I had to create new. The problem is that the page that was hacked was linked to my business page. My old personal profile no longer exist, but I my business page is still present. I can seem to find a way to get into the business page. Please assist. Thanks
Hi Jay, thanks for your comment. You can turn business page notifications off on your personal profile page, then just set up notifications to be delivered by email or via the Pages app (which you can use to manage your business page). Hope that helps.
An employee for my small business set up our Facebook page for the business. She is no longer with the business. Now when I post things on instagram and share it to my business page , it still says posted by ___________ (old employees name).. She is no longer affiliated with the business. How can I change this?
What happens when you post in your own FB business profile, does the post appear in your personal or business account ? If in your personal name, then people can just click on your name and see your personal profile ?
I am wanting to remove social media from my personal life. I truly detest it for me personally but realize it is important for business. what are some options so I can personally disconnect. I am also looking to hire a social media company.
I am in the process of moving a FB and Instagram page from the current FB Business Manager account to another one. I am having an error because an active Facebook Commerce account is linked to the FB and Insta pages.
When you deactivate your commerce account, you remove it and all Shops connected to your account. Your Facebook Pages, Instagram profiles, catalog, ad, and business accounts will no longer be connected to your commerce account.

Thank you kindly for the insight @benceunybrands this will be extremely helpful moving forward. Please do let us know if removing the FB channel entirely resulted in a deactivated Facebook Commerce account.
Hello, I tried to delete my Shopify Product Catalog in Commerce Manager, however, I encountered an ERROR message "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again later." Do you know how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

We're having the exact same error, no deactivate button visible and an unexpected error when trying to delete the catalog. Any help would be appreciated, seems like the link between shopify and facebook is still somehow active despite having deleted the FB channel.
Hello, I have been having this exact same issue since last year May. I need to disable my commerce account from Shopify business manager and connect to a different one but there is no option to do that. After numerous attempts I have now decided to de activate my Shopify shop completely.
What worked for me:
1. I also didn't get shown "deactivate commerce" link and I couldn't delete the catalog because of the error message.
Try editing the name of the catalog, save it under different name and then try to delete it. That worked for me and I got no error message. After that my commerce account wasn't even listed as it was deleted.
I hope this will work for you too.
I've lost all access to our Facebook Business Page, Commerce, and my Private account. (my private account was removed permanently by FB for me using a name other than my birth name.)
I've deleted our Facebook channel on Shopify, but our shop is still up.
