Forsome reason, I am still at the version 4.0.7 with my Enfold theme, not getting updates. The latest version is 4.7.6.7. The theme is licensed. I got the license on 11-6-2020. Am I missing something?

You have to enter a private or personal token which is different from the purchase code. In order to generate a private token, you have to go to the Envato API page. Please check the documentation below for more info.

Alternatively you can get it from your downloads page (assuming you are logged in) WordPress Themes & Website Templates from ThemeForest - Just re download the theme and it will be the latest version.

Be aware that if you have not updated in a long time then it may not be as simple as just uploading the latest copy. Make sure you have backed up your site in full before doing anything.

Hi there

out Hoster changed their php version to 8.1..8.0 is also been supported. But after the switch our site crashed and the typical critical WordPress error showed up. It seems that our enfold theme version 4.2.6 is not compatibel anymore with the new php version. For our site we also used an enfold child theme from it.

Hi Mike,

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately no, they stick with 8.0 or 8.1. No way to downgrade manually at hosting side. I think I need to go for the FTP update solution. Did you rename the child folder too or did you overwrite it with the child theme files?

Hi,

You should not replace your child theme, your settings are linked to it. So please remove your new child theme and rename your old one back.

If you are using a custom header.php or footer.php in your child theme please remove these.

Thanks for the update. The problem is likely coming from your child theme then, could you try to remove everything from it, then add your customisations back one after one to see when things start breaking? If you could share server error logs with us, then we could likely see what line of code is causing this problem.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

I downloaded and installed 11 enfold themes purchased with My Envato account in 2021. The sites listed below were already using enfold (child) but this was originally installed by an SEO company (Search Control) many years ago and they would not help me update them when I inquired last year.

When I checked this week I see that the version of enfold on many of my sites is very old

There are 13 total sites above currently using enfold (or child). My Envato account only has 11 enfold theme purchases. I am guessing that the two sites I did not make the new purchases for was dallasrodents.com and houstonrodents.com since they currently have the oldest versions. These two sites are currently my lowest priority

I now know how to update the theme via FTP (I think), but I do not know which download goes with which site. I checked in the sites files and in theme editors and I can not find any distinguishing license or any other way to determine which download was uploaded to which site.

I havent used the /?e=1 slug in 2 years because I now use callrail which allows me to get near exact ROI on adspend which is great. So i no longer need the cookies, or the old number swapping. The only thing I need that code for is to show multiple, clickable, numbers for each site.

Now, about the custom code, this is the main reason we use the Child themes, in case you modified the core theme code I suggest moving the changes to your child theme as you only update the parent theme.

I received a bundled version of the Layer Slider with my WordPress Theme "Enfold", however, the bundled version is no longer updating. I purchased a standalone license, entered the activation key, but still cannot get the plugin to update. I've read the documentation and cannot find a reasonable solution to the issue. Please provide a solution

That kind of worked, but it did get me going in the right direction. Specifically, I had to Go to Enfold > config-layerslider remove/delete folder. This will throw a "Fatal error" exception at line 443 (for me) in the Enfold > functions.php file, so I had to make that code line ignored (enter // at beginning of line) to not load the layerslider plugin that was deleted. Next, deactivated/removed any instance of the plugin in the WP admin "plugins". Next, logout of WP admin, then go to my Ftp/Webspace themes folder and delete the Enfold them folder, this was to get WP to load a default theme. Log back into WP admin and verify Enfold theme is no longer present. Next, reinstall my Enfold theme, I upload the *.zip file like an original theme install. Next, do not activate yet, go to live preview first, and I saw the theme and layerslider loading properly, because I had already content created. This was looking exactly as expected, so I activated/published. No other issues. I didn't have to re-enter the key for Layer slider, because I had already done so when I first try to update it and it was still in the system. I hope this help the next person with a similar issue. Thanks!

For this tutorial, we will use some of the sample content available in Enfold theme. You can import this content by going to Enfold, clicking on the Demo Import tab on the left, then clicking on the Click to import button as illustrated below.

Note that the Advanced layout editor is a page layout builder that allows you to design and modify the layout as well as add functionality inside a single page and view from within the admin of that page.

WPML can synchronize menus for you. This means that if some entries, for example some pages, posts, or categories, are in the English menu, WPML can generate and keep in sync menus for other languages pointing to the translated versions of these pages, posts, or categories. By following the steps below you will be able to synchronize the menus and translate them.

Enfold theme has many features; with WPML integration you will be able to easily translate all its different elements. The detailed instructions introduced in this document will allow you to build your localized website smartly using Enfold theme and WPML.

The solution provided in the mentioned discussion will enable you to overcome the problem.

So, this is a problem in Enfold theme Avia Layout builder.

Please contact the theme author to fix this.

Today we upgraded WordPress to v4.5, and the latest versions of the Toolset Types and Views plugins, which are only being used for a fairly basic, single custom post type and view. After the upgrade, we can no longer use the Avia Layout Builder which comes with our theme, Enfold. When attempting to edit any page or post which uses that builder, the page partially loads but we have a permanently spinning wheel and the following errors:
