Anyone out there interested in picking one of these up? I got one of
these while working on a project for a cable company last year that
was around mythtv.

The things basically brand new, all I had done at the time was put in
a sata drive to install a custom fedora based OS on to it. It never
panned out and as part of my fee I got to keep the hardware. I think
it's a X2 4600 in it, with 512MB of RAM and a DVDRW and some DVB based
capture card in it. It's got a compact flash disk & adapter that
contains the linux pvr OS that was shipped with it. It also has a
remote control and built in IR sensor. It'd probably make a fine
mythtv frontend for someone (or could be used for it's intended
purpose).

If anyone is interested, make me an offer. I think they retail for
about $499, but at this point I just want to clean out my office.

Thanks
Ryan

I'll give you $50 for it if you don't get any better offers.

I'm not suggesting what Jameson did was wrong, because emails just to Ryan doesn't give anyone the going rate, but surely there is a better way?  Like, put the current bid up on a website or something and we email Ryan with new offers?

I mean, I don't really mind a few emails, but I could see it getting out of hand.  I guess if you are using GMail there's always the mute button...

Anyway, my bid is $75.  I'd have bidded sooner if I'd have known we were starting so low. :)

My apologies. I figured there are only 30 users or less in the list,
plus I should have asked to be emailed of list if you're interested in
it. I sent one of these a few months back for the Dell Hybrids, and I
think I got a single response so I didn't put much thought into it.

Your bid however is duly noted.

Thanks,
Ryan
