Hi there, my name is Shannon VanWagner and I'm writing because there
is a person in Racine WI that needs help with Linux.

Here's the problem he outlines:
"Just installed UBUNTU, partitioned my HD lost all my Windows XP and
Ubuntu, doesn't work it opens but mouse is frozen then screen times

I did not plan to delete Windows XP, that is what I thought doing a
partitions would save the XP to one half of my hard drive.

It took 5 weeks of trying to install Ubuntu,

Recovery mode just starts over and over.
I can understand I lost all my legal files, installing Ubuntu, but
what makes it worst Ubuntu doesn't even work."

Anyways, I was so moved by this person's tenacity in becoming a new
Linux user that I offered for them to ship their machine to me and I
would make sure it got Linux installed it. I also offered the
alternative of trying to find someone in their area to help them...
that's when I searched for Racine WI Linux users group and found

And so I was wondering if you could help this person?
