Coverage of the 2008 Annual Gambo Race can be found on the Kenfig.org
website.

We documented the entire event as per norm, however, we are not
prepared to indirectly market the Prince of Wales Inn 'Start' of the
gambo race on the kenfig.org website this year. This is because the
Kenfig Corporation Trust which owns the pub will not acknowledge the
'Fact' that we operate the kenfig.org website as a community group in
the immediate area.

All pubs enroute of the gambo race are indiretly gaining maximum
promotion through the gambo race coverage on the kenfig.org website
(which we are happy to do) - why should we indirectly help promote a
business that refuses to acknowledge our very existance - the
Kenfig.org website is operated as a not for profit making organisation
known as kenfig.org local community group where my works have been
formally recognised by the National Library of Wales / Welsh Assembly
Government. I feel both myself and my team deserve some respect within
the immediate locality of where we operate.

There are a lot of local politics going on in the area - my own works
were copied by a certain person associated with the POW inn and
certain associates of the like who think that they are cut above
everyone else in the local community.

The entire coverage of the 2008 annual gambo race (including coverage
at the POW inn) will be made available on a DVD where monies generated
will be donated to the Sandville Self Help Centre, Ton Kenfig. Further
details to be found on the Kenfig.org website.
