Hi

I have tried many of the links on the website and continually get
messages that the web page is not found or that the link is broken.

Do you want a list of the broken links so that they can be fixed? I
can run a sweep through the site and get that info for you if you want
it.

Many thanks for your observation. Many of the links appear 'broken' as
web pages/sections have yet to be implemented into the website. The
Kenfig website project is operated on a voluntary basis outside that
of the normal working environment. The site hasn't been updated for
over 2 months now due entirely to work commitments elsewhere. We are
fully aware of this situation with the website. A statement will be
made in the coming months as to the operation of this website on a
voluntary basis due to so called 'economic pressures' faced by the
general public and the voluntary sector within the UK as a whole.

Excuse me ladies & gentlemen....a word of advise, take it or leave it!

Firstly, John...
This website project is owned, developed & designed by myself Rob
Bowen (in South Wales, UK) It is operated as a not for profit making
organisation (Community Group) in the voluntary sector. The project is
part funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, has been granted
Heritage Status, is being archived through both the National Library
of Wales/British Library and is listed as an online educational
resource within the academic environment by the UK Government.

In my previous post I outlined that we are aware of so called 'broken
links' as mentioned in your posting.

Originally this project was supported by local historical
organisations who 'volunteered' to help by supplying information
researched from archived library resources.... sadly, local politics
emerged where the so called 'history socities' were & are still under
the illusion 'they own the history' themselves, so they won't help any
longer. That means I have to research, edit & sub-edit the same
information that they have which takes a lot longer to implement,
before you, the viewer are able to read anything. The so called
'missing links' have been implemented into the website to show the
complexity of the website's structure as legal litigation was
implemented by the so called 'history socities' when they tried to
copy my website project and claim it as their own - the structure of a
website is copyright protected under International Law. The 'history
societies' failed in their attempt to copy my work & if they or anyone
else for that matter, attempts to create a similar/identical website
on the history of the Kenfig area, South Wales; legal action will be
taken for a breach of copyright and moral rights of my works as I own
the publishing rights in digital format.

This Google Group has been implemented by myself to support the main
Kenfig website project in attracting further information, healthy
debate together with possible help & support towards this project. I
am open to criticism as I have been involved in this technology for
10yrs and due to the advancement of Internet technologies.

What I do not tolerate is abuse of the Kenfig website in any form
whatsoever especially when my works have been recognised and are
protected by the UK Government.

John, your last post including the .html downloads have been removed.
Re-distrubuting my work without my permission is definately not
tolerated.
Further postings in relation to this issue will result in the total
removal of you from this group.

I entrust my actions are met with fairness towards the protection of
my works and are not taken to heart by the poster in person.
