Dear KENCO Members,
It is with great pleasure that I would like to invite you all to World Cancer Day 2017 celebrations being held by KENCO alongside the Ministry of Health and the Nairobi County Government.
This year’s theme is “We can, I can” and the focus will be on directly engaging the public with cancer information. The event dubbed “taking cancer information to the streets” will be celebrated at the open space outside The National Archives adjacent to the Tom Mboya Memorial on 4th February, 2017 starting from 7.00 AM.
We will have experts, providers, cancer survivors and cancer advocates directly engage the public through talks and distribution of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials. We would also like to request your organizations to participate in distribution of cancer information materials as well as to engage with the public while creating awareness, educating and responding to queries.
