Hi everyone!
Our Spring Dance is confirmed for Friday, May 2nd at 6:30 PM in the Kemp Mill Elementary cafeteria, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
Dance Theme: Glow Party – Light Up the Night!
This is a family event, so we want to make sure all families have time to enjoy the dance together. To make the night run smoothly, we’re asking for volunteers to help with short shifts at various stations.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Set-Up (5:30–6:30 PM): Help decorate and get stations ready
Check-In Table (6:15–7:30 PM): Greet families and hand out glow items
Ticket Sales (6:15–7:30 PM): Sell tickets for food and snacks
Pizza Table (6:30–7:30 PM): Hand out pizza slices
Drinks Table (6:30–7:30 PM): Hand out beverages
Popcorn Station (6:30–7:30 PM): Distribute popcorn
Games Station (6:30–7:30 PM): Help kids play simple games
Second Shift Volunteers (7:30–8:30 PM): Same roles — so everyone has time to enjoy the dance!
Clean-Up Crew (8:30–9:00 PM): Quick clean-up after the event
Student Volunteers:
If you know any middle or high school students who need SSL hours, this is a great opportunity! Students can help run stations and will earn service credit.

¡Nuestro Baile Familiar de Primavera está confirmado para el viernes 2 de mayo a las 6:30 PM en la cafetería de Kemp Mill Elementary, y estamos muy emocionados de celebrarlo con ustedes!
Tema del Baile: Fiesta de Neón – Glow Party
Este es un evento familiar, por lo que queremos asegurarnos de que todas las familias tengan tiempo para disfrutar el baile juntos. Para que todo funcione sin problemas, estamos pidiendo voluntarios que puedan ayudar en turnos cortos en diferentes estaciones.
Oportunidades para ser voluntario:
Montaje (5:30–6:30 PM): Ayudar a decorar y preparar las estaciones
Mesa de Registro (6:15–7:30 PM): Dar la bienvenida a las familias y repartir artículos de neón
Venta de Boletos (6:15–7:30 PM): Vender boletos para comida y refrigerios
Mesa de Pizza (6:30–7:30 PM): Repartir porciones de pizza
Mesa de Bebidas (6:30–7:30 PM): Repartir bebidas
Estación de Palomitas (6:30–7:30 PM): Entregar bolsas de palomitas de maíz
Estación de Juegos (6:30–7:30 PM): Supervisar juegos sencillos para los niños
Segundo turno de voluntarios (7:30–8:30 PM): Mismas funciones — para que todos puedan disfrutar del baile
Equipo de Limpieza (8:30–9:00 PM): Ayudar a limpiar al finalizar el evento
Voluntarios Estudiantiles:
Si conocen estudiantes de secundaria que necesiten horas de servicio estudiantil (SSL), ¡esta es una excelente oportunidad! Podrán ayudar en las estaciones y ganar crédito de servicio comunitario.

Just a friendly reminder that our Glow Party Dance is tomorrow, Friday, May 2nd at 6:30 PM in the school cafeteria!
Come ready to light up the night with your best bright, neon, and glow-in-the-dark outfits – the more fun and colorful, the better! We’ll have music, food, and glowing fun for the whole family.
Admission: $5 per family (up to 5 people), includes pizza and a beverage.
Let’s make it a night to remember – see you on the dance floor!
