Hi Composting Group!

I'm thinking since we are going to be there on Sunday, would you like to talk about:
  • what needs to be done
  • how to manage the compost
  • possible educational sessions / workshops
  • and any other suggestions
after the soil building?? Probably after 3pm-ish.

Hey there,

First...it works!

I went around Natures Fare and Green leafs, or something like that. I
would be able to have green from them too.
For Nature's Fare I would pick up on Monday evenings. Don't know yet
about the other one.

I should be good for spending a bit of time after the soil building to
talk.

Have a great sunny day

Action
  • We did removed some of finished compost from the bottom of Bin, and added to the garden.
  • Wet all compost bins.
  • Added Dean's compost spices.

Observation
  • Most of compost bins are in mix stage. It needs to be organized. - see Future Action Section.
  • Ludo can bet "green" from Nature's fare on Monday base.
  • We need signage:
    • compost in process - please do not add any material.
    • Stage 1, 2, 3 (for three stage bin, and this stage 1 is the only one accepting fresh contents from outside of Permaculture people, unofficially)
Future Action
Plan a meeting for how to manage the compost bins, assigning tasks. - Haruko will send out meeting date coordination e-mail.
Once the plan is made, call for Compost bin starting get together.
