Inour recent 2021 Credential Stuffing Report, we talked about the prevalence of credential stuffing attacks and the bot technology that attackers use. In my past life as a law enforcement and intelligence officer, I was often surprised by the innovation and maturity of the "businesses" and services that cybercrime entrepreneurs develop. As head of the Shape Intelligence Center, I continue to watch our adversaries evolve, and I like to see for myself how common tools and services used against our customers operate, when I can. One key service that cybercriminals use is CAPTCHA bypass. This is what I found when I went to work for a CAPTCHA-solving click farm.

So how does this process actually work? The steps below outline how an automated attack can leverage this human labor when required. In most cases, a diligent attacker will conduct reconnaissance on a target site ahead of time, during which CAPTCHA would be identified as a requirement. Once an account is created and set up (in this case, with 2Captcha), the general process is illustrated in Figure 5.

Notice the additional stats shown in Figure 7: solving speed, service load, and workers online. This is valuable data for the customers paying these rates and making purchasing decisions, and it is updated in near real time.

Perhaps surprisingly, shady services of many kinds are often known for providing excellent customer support. 2Captcha is no exception. In addition to the user-friendly interface and the abundance of training materials, 2Captcha provides extensive support pages and FAQs (see Figure 14) for both workers and customers. Some solver companies even provide telephone support.

Unfortunately there is no free solution unless if you build it yourself. check the link below, see if you can find something that can help you get started or something that might give you a better idea on how to solve your problem.

There are some paid services on the web for this. What they do is to send the image to an actual person to read it and return the solution.

If you want to avoid that put a breaking point on your process to bypass the captcha like I did.

Thank you so much for making us aware of this particular captcha solver. I will certainly give it a try. Some of the instructions on their page are not very user-friendly and, to put it politely, the English translation could use some work. However, the prices are certainly reasonable. As the blindness community is trying to wrestle with which captcha solvers are no longer available and which ones are working it occurs to me that someone needs to have a Web page with current information regarding the state of captcha solving solutions. I need to be careful whenever I begin a sentence with "someone needs to ..." because sometimes that means that maybe I'm the someone who should consider volunteering. Therefore, I happily volunteer. If anybody else knows of captcha solvers which are currently available, please reply publicly to the list and I will gather this information and will soon have a page about this set up on my personal Web site.

Again, I haven't had a chance to try them out but I hope to do so shortly. I'm also planning to add a page to my Web site listening current as well as discontinued captcha solvers as I think such a service is needed.

On one website, using my iPhone, it seemed to work but then the dreaded error message that the system was busy, 'please try again later'. The problem is, I had to enter my information again when did try again later and have yet to to get past the captcha.

update: nice this really work, but I guess they still have to fix it to auto show the captcha without opening the rewards panel first.

Before clicking on the solve option, open brave://rewards/. Then slightly move the captcha to click on the BAT Purple triangle besides the URL bar (if you are able to click on the BAT triangle, then no need of moving the pop-up, just click on solve). Click on the solve button. A captcha will appear immediately below the BAT triangle (from the triangle), where you need to move a circle in its position.

Update1: Nope. Still not working. All that is displayed is a blank white square (see image). Waited >2min for captcha to appear. White square disappears if I make any mouse click action.

NTP ad (Brave Wallet) displaying but not earning viewed BAT. Click on ads recorded in 30 day history but not earning BAT. Have not received a notification ad in several hours. No inline ads (not uncommon).

Meanwhile, click on the BAT triangle multiple times to minimise lag between the click and the loading of rewards panel/card. You your own judgement, when you fee the lag is minimum, go ahead and solve the Captcha. Best wishes!

Now, when I close and reopen browser, the notice does not appear. Not sure what is going on with that! NTP ads appearing and received a notification ad. Maybe they disabled for the time being? Thank-you to the Brave gods that be!
