One of the best ways to enjoy an upgraded wallpaper user experience on a jailbroken iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 14 is to replace the standard wallpaper image file with one of a video file instead.

Up until a couple months ago, if I changed my wallpaper/background image, I could choose between tile, zoom, centre, scale, fill or span. These options no longer appear in GUI for changing the background image.
I am using Ubuntu 17.10.
And select the image. At the bottom of nitrogen, select "automatic" and "Full screen" as options. alternately you can use nitrogen to set a separate image on each screen, up to you (sort of depends on your background images).
Nitrogen answer works, but another tweak is necessary.Run Advanced Settings in Gnome Tweak Tool, go to Desktop section and switch Have file manager handle the desktop off. Then wallpapers set via Nitrogen will be displayed.
I am the author of Nitrogen and there is code in there to detect a gnome desktop and set it properly so that you don't need to make this change, but it appears to not be functioning on modern Ubuntus. I will investigate.

I prefer a lighter background for my darkroom than is available in the included themes. I have been looking for a darktable.css file (Linux installation) to see how I might add some tweaks for a white background colour but have not had any luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I think that this is the main issue: Most people do not host their own but use reddit, 500px, facebook, deviantart, instgram, pixls etc. What these all have in common is a bright or dark themed mode and maybe a grey(-ish) one. If the device used to look at images and/or the website settings are out of the editors control then the best thing to do is to use the aforementioned gray background.

We will replace any goods proven to be faulty. You should ensure that items are properly packaged and insured against loss and further damage before returning them to us. We require samples of faulty products and labels for any faults to be considered. We cannot accept any responsibility for returned items which are lost in transit.
We do not accept returns on fabric cut to length as these are bespoke products and can not be resold. We advise all customers to use our fabric sample service as images can vary according to monitor quality, if you are making the fabric up for somebody else we recommend checking their sample cutting to ensure you have received the correct fabric as we cannot accept any responsibility once the fabric has been cut or processed in any way. If there is a fault with the product a like for like replacement will be sent from the manufacturer and the returned goods will be sent for investigation, the fabric must not be cut or processed in anyway.
