June meeting minutes

Hello KF homeowners. Hope your summer is going well. Here are the
June meeting minutes.

Kelly Farm Owners Association
Board Meeting Minutes
June 1, 2010

The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm. Members present were Mark
Jones, Doug Otte, Diane Alexander, and Tim Smith.

1. Approval of Minutes:
• Diane made a motion to accept the May 4th minutes as written; Tim
seconded the motion; it was voted on and passed with unanimous
approval.

2. Old Business:
• Update on NW detention pond landscaping: After the May meeting, the
Board was unable to reach agreement with Gene Kammerzell of Arborland
Nursery on the deadline for planting the seed and the conditions he
imposed for the payment of services. Thora Pabst, who represents the
owners near the pond, attended the meeting. She asked the Board to
reconsider either doing the planting now or in the fall. Because hot
weather has arrived and the uncertainty of weather conditions in the
fall, the
Board reaffirmed the previous decision to postpone the project until
spring 2011.

3. New Business:
• There were no items for discussion.

4. Treasurer's report:
• Collections are up approximately $3,500 over the previous year at
this same date. However, there are still 24 owners who have not paid
the current year dues assessment so further collection actions are in
process. Transfer fees have increased which indicates the sale of
homes is improving. As of May 31, there was $94,813.45 in the bank
accounts.

5. Adjournment:
• The meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 7pm.
