The free plan lets you use PNG tools for personal use only. Upgrade to the premium plan to use PNG tools for commercial purposes. Additionally, these features will be unlocked when you upgrade:
This browser-based program creates silhouettes from PNG images. It finds all objects in a PNG (the objects must be on a transparent background), removes all the colors from the objects, and repaints them in a black color, leaving just the objects' silhouettes. Such silhouettes can be used for creating logos, icons, transparency masks, and other graphic elements. Additionally, with this program, you can create stencils that can be used to apply patterns to walls, fabrics, and other surfaces. In the tool options, you can choose the silhouette color. By default, it's black, but you can set it to green, blue, red, or any other color that you like. Also, you can change the background color in the options. By default, it's transparent, but you can choose another color, such as white, or make it semi-transparent. In both options, colors can be specified using their names, hex codes, RGB codes, or RGBA codes for semi-transparent colors. Png-abulous!
This example transforms a PNG image of a yellow flower into a black silhouette. The program turns all opaque and semi-transparent pixels into black pixels while leaving the transparent background unchanged. The black silhouette shows the unique shape of the flower and it can further be used for various creative projects such as creating stickers or tattoos. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we convert a PNG snowflake with many sparkles into a crisp black silhouette on a transparent background. The resulting silhouette captures the details of the snowflake and can be used as a stencil for creating winter decorations. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we create a silhouette of stylish sunglasses and draw it with vibrant colors. We use the "royal blue" color for the opaque pixels of sunglasses and the "floral white" color for the background. The output sunglasses silhouette can be used in graphics projects, such as creating custom t-shirt designs or icons. (Source: Pexels.)
All ships are equipped with ''universal '' plug-ins ( one for N.A & one for Euro ), as all ships are bound to go from N.A. to Europe and back X2/year for the most part. Bringing a converter plug is always a good idea however, for ''land'' portions of your holidays.
The ships are equipped with both types of plugs for Euro and American. You need to assess you power charging needs such as computers , phones, tablets, cellphones, etc. as well as powering hair dryers. If you have a lot of power charging requirements, bring a charging station that does not overload the circuit capacity. Just a suggestion.....
Look at your appliances. Are they dual-voltage? Some will have a little switch that you can change; others will say dual-voltage. If they are dual voltage, you will NOT need an converter, just an adaptor when on land.
We find that we don't need to travel with a converter any longer. Everything we have (blow dryer, curling iron, video charger, camera charger, phone charger) just requires an adaptor. It's becoming rarer and rarer that we even need an adaptor as many hotels either have dual voltage outlets OR they provide adaptors for your use.
First, make a list of all of the electrical appliances you will be using when off the ship. As was previously posted, the ship will provide standard US 110 Volt 60 Hertz power with the standard US three prong grounded outlet (actually two outlets, so if you are planning on plugging in three or more at once, bring a power strip.
Each of the appliances you have listed should have a label indicating its power requirements. If it says 110/220 or 115/230 or 120/240 AND 50/60 Hertz or 50/60 Hz your appliance does NOT need a voltage converter to operate on European current. However, since European plugs have a different configuration than the US plugs, you will need an ADAPTER. This will not change the electrical characteristics, but will allow a US two or three prong plug to connect to a British or European outlet.
As far as adapter recommendations there are many quality products, but I use an American Tourister brand model number H214. I will allow you to plug a US style plug into a European/British/or Australian/New Zealand outlet. It is approximately 2" x 2" x3" and weighs only a few ounces.
Now if your appliance does NOT say that it will operate on European voltage and frequency, you will need a CONVERTER. Sorry to say I don't have any suggestions as to a converter, as we have been careful to shop for appliances that work on US and European voltages. When shopping for a converter, you need to know the wattage requirement of your appliance, and also if it will be OK with 50 Hz power.
The good news is that many appliances now will work well with US or European power (Consider that having a product that can be sold in the US or Europe with just a different power cord is a marketing advantage)
Typically you will find that battery chargers, computer power adapters, cell phone chargers, and other electronics can handle the international power just fine (but read the label). Hair dryers, hot curlers, curling irons, travel irons, electric fans are much less likely to work (but again, read the label).
Lastly, If you are staying off ship in Europe/UK/ANZ or other locations that don't provide US power, You still might want to bring a US style power strip in addition to your plug adapter, so that you can plug in your computer, camera battery charger, cell phone charger, and other US plugs at one time. IMPORTANT if you do this, don't use a US power strip with surge protection! Remember that your adapter will pass 220 Volts to your power strip, and that will look like a surge, so it will shut down. Also, COUNSEL with all of the folks that will plug into the power strip. They will naturally assume - if it plugs, it works ---- WRONG. My adult daughter blew a travel fan that we had loaned them by plugging it into a power strip. It was 110 Volt, and smoked at 220 V.
Solstice class ships have 2 US type sockets and 1 European socket next to the desk. If you are not staying on in Europe and you plan your charging appropriately you probably won't need an adaptor or convertor. The hairdryer that the cruiseline supplies fits into the European socket (probably less stealing of hairdryers that way:))
