רצינו לשתף אתכם בחוויה הרוחנית שעברנו.
זה לא סוד שלצאת למגבית כל שנה אינה דבר דבר של מה בכך.
השנה, קודם צאתנו לדרך נכנסנו למעונו של מרן ראש הישיבה הגאון רבי משה הלל הירש שליט"א בכדי לשמוע מדברות קדשו, ולקבל את ברכתו ותמיכתו קודם שנצא לדרך.
היו אלו רגעים מרוממים ביותר. רגעים של התעלות.
לאחר שהבין מרן שליט"א במה המדובר, ממרום גילו ועל אף חשיבות כל רגע מזמנו, הטריח את עצמו ופנה אל המצלמה שעמדה מולו, והעביר את המסר החשוב פעמיים, בעברית ובאנגלית —

Dear friends,
We wanted to share with you the uplifting spiritual experience we had.
It’s no secret that launching the annual campaign each year is no simple task.
This year, before beginning the effort, we visited the home of Maran, the Rosh Yeshiva, HaGaon Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch, shlit”a, to hear his holy words and receive his blessing and support before setting out.
Those were deeply elevating moments. Moments of true inspiration.
After understanding the nature of the campaign, despite his advanced age and the immense value of every moment of his time, the Rosh Yeshiva took the trouble to turn to the camera before him and personally convey this important message — twice — in Hebrew and in English!
