In the case of the .nbk file with a zero length. You could try :
1) Make a copy of your keepnote book folder.
2) Create a new keepnote book.
3) Copy the .nbk file from the root folder of your new keepnote book
into the correspondant position in your copy.
4) Open your keepnote book copy as usual.
The problem of zero length file seems to be solved in the last test version.
