I am using Keepnote v. 0.7.8. I have been trying to open an older file but am told it needs to be updated from v4 to v6. However, when I try doing that it says it can't open it because the version is too old. I have quite a bit of information in that older file, how can I get it into the new version format?

Besides that problem and it being slow at times, this is a great program. I have moved all my browser bookmarks to a notebook and just leave Keepnote open when I have my browser open. There are so many uses for the software.

I sure hope so. I have asked this question before and never received an answer. I really like this software but with this problem and the problem of slowness when changing to a different topic. The website says " KeepNote is also good for presenting large text documents with figures and text formatting." but I have found it to be v-e-r-y slow in that case.

Ho well, I'll see what happens.

Never mind. I found another program (CherryTree) that works great, imports ALL of the notebooks from KeepNote (and other programs as well) and is VERY fast.
