Keepnote not recognising all installed fonts (Linux Mint 15)

Images of 1) all Gill Sans I'm able to select within Keepnote and 2) all Gill Sans that are shown as available in Font Viewer.

I'm sure I've noticed this in other Linux programs already but I can't bring to mind which. Anyone know why my choice of fonts is so drasticall reduced?
