I have been using keepass on my android phone without any issues until recently.  I have the database saved on my phone's sd card.  When I changed a password recently and tried to save it I received the following message.    /storage/extSdCard/keepass/Database.kdb.tmp:open failed:EACCESS (Permission denied).  I don't know what this means.  If it is an issue with the sd card running out of space (which I doubt), or something else.  I would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Magda

I have the same issue.  The error showed up right after I received the Kit-Kat software upgrade to my Motorola Droid phone.

I also have this problem. I'm using a Galaxy Note. Any solution?

This same bug happened to me and I hope someone at KeePass will please fix it soon! This is crippling my ability to work efficiently.

I don't think there's much Brian (the developer of KeePassDroid) can to, since it's Android that is denying the app write access to all SDCard except one application-specific folder.

When your phone is rooted, there are a few things you can try to restore pre-4.4 behavior:
If you're not rooted, I would try putting the kdb file on the internal storage and see if you can write to it there (not sure, I only have JB 4.3).
