Galaxy S10e has biometric issues after OS upgrade

There was a recent push to Android OS 12 on the S10e, and afterwards, I can no longer use keepassdroid with biometric-saved password.  It will prompt Biometric Invalid or similar when trying to save.  Is there a fix for this in the beta program that I should sign up for to get?

Try clearing the cache in the KeePass app and setting up the Biometric again.

Thanks - I did nothing but try using the phone as normal and tried it again after a week and biometric worked correctly.  Maybe the cache somehow cleared itself during that time, as I don't recall doing it.
