I see no controls/menu options to actually add new entries or modify
old ones in KeePassDroid? Does all data have to be entered/modified
from my PC?

Ditto, I can see entries but there are no buttons add the bottom of
the screen to either 'add group' or 'add entry'. I opened the file
from dropbox.

Sorry, read the release notes that V2 is read only. Will wait for
upgrade.

Huh? I edit Keepass records on my Optimus all the time. Then sync
them with my home machine (running KeePassX) and edit there too.

Which version are you using, because it sounds like 2.15 doesn't
support editing or adding records?

support for v2.x databases is currently read-only... you're probably
using a v1 database.
I hope they'll add rw support soon!

Exactly.

Installed keepassdroid
created new database
sent the kdb to my PC
tried to open it on the PC, PC said "cant open it, it's a ver1 db..
you need to import it"
So I had to create a new ver2 kdbx file on the PC
then imported the stuff I had created on the droid (all there...
cool!)
then added some more stuff on the PC
sent the kdbx back to the droid
keepassdroid opened the file no problem.. all added stuff was there
and now I can't add or change stuff on the droid!

So... I suppose I could live with doing all my adding/editing on the
PC for now (even via remote desktop from the droid), but I'd like to
hear that the feature definitely will be added soon or at least at
some point?

Comment from the author would be awesome ;-)

Other than that, looks like an awesome system in general.

Hello from Germany,
I use Keepass on PC for some years and now on my Smartphone too.
Do you have an idea when you can integrate editing this version?

First sorry because my english is not very good,
I have same problem, since I saved my file as KDBX format I cant edit this file in my android and the problem is that lately I´m editing more often in my Android than PC
Solution:
Export to KDB format in Dropbox folder and use this KDB in android, if eventualy I need to edit from my PC I need to import it and manage is allways in KDB format

The solution, keep your read-only database on your Android.

Create a second database for inputting new data.

On your PC, IMPORT the records from your entry database to your read-only database, and copy it back to your Android.

Clean out the duplicate entries from the input database.

I too hope to get the upgrade soon.
