I have a new Android device, just installed KeePassdroid on it. My database is stored in Dropbox. This is the Android first device I've used the Dropbox Available offline feature.

I'm sharing the database with a Windows 10 PC and other Android devices, but for now I'm just testing out the PC. When I make a change to the database on the PC with KeePass, then save and exit the application, the change is made to the Dropbox folder and the new file appears on the Android device, I can see the updated time stamp in my file manager.

When I restart the KeePassDroid app, login, the database doesn't seem to have been updated. I don't see a way in the app to force a sync, or reload the database, so I'm assuming that if I log in anytime, the database is reloaded? Any suggestions on my sync issue?

Also, when I make a database change in KeePassDroid, when is that written back to the file? I don't see anyway to save the file, force a write, etc.

Basically, I don't understand syncing. Is there an explanation for how syncing works that I can read for myself?

Also, I struggled with the fingerprint issue, but a quick Google search got that fixed.

There may be a better answer, but I have always accessed the database through the Dropbox app to ensure I get the latest version.

I just tap on the .kbd file in the Dropbox app and it launches KeepassDroid with that data file.

This is the way I do it as well (clicking on the file in Dropbox) -- and it works great on my Samsung S7. However, when I do this on my Lenovo Tab 8 tablet, the Lenovo reboots itself. The last time it rebooted itself, it forgot a lot of its specifications. Any idea on where to look for help regarding this?
