Meejin,

I finally (!) heard back from the room reservation office: we have Hunter West 415 - a lecture hall with capacity for 100 - on 10/4. Are you still interested?

Sorry about how long it has taken us!

Best,
Jen

Hi Meejin,

I am going to put in a request for space right now, since we would love to co-host this event. I may loop in the Human Rights Program, as well, if that's all right with you?

Best,
Jen

Hi Jennifer,

I hope all is well. I attended the APA studies fair as a "vendor" from the Center for Constitutional Rights by recommendation of Alison Roh Park and you had mentioned in an email that Hunter was open for use of its space by any group interested in doing events having to do with Asian Americans.

I went with a delegation of Korean Americans to the DPRK last week as part of a peace delegation, and we want to do a reportback about our experience meeting with fellow Koreans and going on various site visits to places like a food factory, baby orphanage, art collective, breast cancer research center, and meeting with a wide range of people including farmers, workers, youth members, woman judge, etc. The purpose of the trip was to meet and build relationships with people in north Korea, and to come back and share what we learned with the general public and specifically with people of the Asian/Pacific/American experience.

I am wondering if we might be able to do an evening reportback/discussion at Hunter on Friday, October 4th or October 11th? The time would be about 6-8 or 7-9pm, and we would want to serve food of some type and need a projector to put up images. Our goal would be to have about 100 people, possibly more.

Thanks and I hope all is well as you begin the new school year!

Best,
Meejin
