Hey everyone,

I've been really swamped, and I'm sorry for the delay with the slideshow, but my partner isn't able to help out this time either because he's also really pressed for time.  There's also been a death in the family of a close colleague, and as a result, there's double duty at work.

To cut to the chase, I've managed to go through all the pics and pick the ones I think would be best for our show (attached are my notes), but the dropbox isn't an ideal place to put it because the files are way too big and it's taking forever just to upload one pic.  Also, none of the online based programs were conducive to adding subtitles, which is why we ended up using the Windows Movie Maker to create the slideshow last time (which can't be edited at all once it's done).

Does anyone have any good ideas about how to put these pics together with captions in a way that would allow for collaboration (i.e. multiple people to work together), and if so, can folks help go through my notes to add the pics to a common location?

Thanks so much and again sorry for the delay,
suzy

Thx Suzy for compiling! And I'm sorry to hear you've been going through it...

How about this: ill try and decipher your writing, make a basic ppt slideshow with captions using low res photos and show it to others?

I'm willing to take this on with promise of feedback from others when we finish. Since it was originally Suzy and I who said we would handle this piece.

As a heads up I'm talking to Christina abt Doing a reportback in Seattle oct 13.

we can also use google doc presentation for the basis of powerpoint - re pictures chosen and text, and then when everyone is agreeing to the content, we can remove it from googledoc and format/style it.

How about that?
