Hello, Neighbors
Our dear red tabby, Pumpkin, captured a huge rat on Saturday and brought it to us.
Since then we have not seen him. He may have eaten part of it and gotten ill.
Please be on the look out for him. Of course, we love him dearly and are concerned.
He has a collar on but his contact info was worn off. Here is a photo.
Thank you
Ginger and Jeff

On this note I would like to urge all neighbors to avoid using poisons to deal with rodents. It is hard to stifle and not respect the natural instincts of our beloved cats in the neighborhood. They will hunt and if they eat their prey the are at risk from dying as well. I don't know If people in the neighborhood use poisons. If so I would like to know so I can be prepared in someway to protect my cat, also I would be willing to work with anyone on searching out alternatives to poison.
Ginger and Jeff, we will watch for your dear red tabby Pumpkin, and wish for his safe return.

Thank you ,Tracy. We do not know if Pumpkin ate some rat and is ill  or dying somewhere from poisoning. He was last seen Sunday afternoon. Yes, we should all address the poison issue.
