KEDR is just what I needed. How can I contribute to its development?

Hi,

Good to know KEDR can be helpful to you!

If you have a particular feature in mind that you would like to implement or a problem you want to fix, you can describe it in an email to this mailing list. This is especially useful if the changes you propose are big.

Or, even better, you can just start sending your patches to this mailing list, I'll review them. The preferred format and guidelines are the same as for the kernel (see http://www.mjmwired.net/kernel/Documentation/development-process/5.Posting)

Or, perhaps, you are looking for some tasks that you can do for KEDR? If so, here is the list of the currently open issues and requests: http://code.google.com/p/kedr/issues/list. Enhancements 11, 12 and 14 will be especially nice to have.

Personally, I do not plan major changes in KEDR 0.x series for some time (only bugfix releases, perhaps) because I am looking forward to concentrating on a rewrite of KEDR. Currently, I am investigating compile-time instrumentation techniques. I would like to implement it in KEDR 1.x as that could have many benefits (that may even allow to prepare KEDR for ARM as well, or so I dream ;-) ).

So, if you have questions, ideas, comments or patches - you are welcome.

Regards,
Eugene
