Hi,

Now that the first version of KernelStrider has been released, I plan to spend some time to finally prepare version 0.4 of KEDR framework. It has been quite a while since the previous release, many fixes and other changes are in order. Some are already in the repository (e.g. LeakCheck modularization), some are still to be done, for example:

- revisit the configuration system and the code to make KEDR build properly with kernel 3.3 and newer;
- revisit the the subsystem maintaining the information about the kernel functions to be processed;
- disable building of the "call tracing" facilities by default (they are probably more rarely used than LeakCheck and Fault Simulation);
- include description of the new LeakCheck API to KEDR manual;
- ...and so on.

If there are no objections, I would also like to increase the minimum supported version of the kernel to 2.6.32 (used in Debian 6, RHEL 6, etc.). Version 2.6.31 is probably not that widely used anyway. This would lower the maintenance burden a bit.

Regards,
Eugene
