The Inaugeration program this past Sunday was such a wonderful start
to the new KedarRaag cultural wing of Kedar. These young artists
showed the promise of the future in maintaining and nurturing
classical Indian carnatic music with a flare for artistry, musicality,
expression and creativity. The combination of teachers, talent and
tapas on the part of all involved reflected itself in the energy and
precision with which the music was performed. It was an inspiring
afternoon and I left feeling uplifted by the beauty of what I heard
and saw. Dandavat pranams to all involved!
Yadyad vibhootimat sattwam shreemadoorjitameva vaa;
Tattadevaavagaccha twam mama tejom’shasambhavam.
Whatever being there is that is glorious, prosperous or powerful, that
know thou to be a manifestation of a part of My splendour. (BG 10.41)
