Madhu has come up with draft of the crisis management doc that we can provide to BOT so they can see our line of thought and how we perceive this.

That's Good Starting point, One thing I would like to add is the possible solution Guidelines section, here are few possible examples (need not be the actual ones)..

 

Possible Guideline

 

1. Inclement Weather:
     a.Take a decision to Cancel or Proceed with the Event if known in advance.
     b.Prepare for the Low Turnout, including the revenue and food.
2. Faulty Sound System
     a. Kaveri to keep on Medium Size Karaoke System , Which can be Substituted as Worst Case Scenario , which can be handled easily for any person.
     b. Always Hire Professional Sound Engineer
3. Medial Emergencies
     a. In Every event, Fist Aid Kit should be available at the Front-Desk
4.Shortage of food in high turnout
     a. Take Decision that Food only to RSVPD's persons. (It is difficult to control).
     b. If Alternate solution available, Order Pizza or something else from Near by Stores if Possible.

As I had mentioned, it was a work in progress. I had only written up
the introduction. :)

Also, some portions in the original document, describing 'risk' seems
to have been taken from a published source. There might be a copyright
issue if appropriate credits are not given.

I think we should brainstorm some more and identify additional risk factors.

It is very good to add solutions as suggested by Sri. R.K.avaru.

For medical Emergencies:

Can we also request any doctors in the community that might be
attending the event to identify themselves with KEC at the time of
Registration and give their pager/mobile number so we can request
their help?
