Call for a Meet

Hello guys ! Its been two months we have set up a community and i do
not find active participation of all the members of this community.
This community was set up as a communication platform for students who
are willing to do something out of their usual routine. Now what i
think is its time to have a community meet. The meet should be
sheduled within this week only and all the members of the community
who wish to speak up their mind and want to keep this community active
should show up.
Although this meet was planned much earlier but i was waiting for more
people to join this community. Now i see that slowly this community is
also losing its interest. There are hardly any active members and no
more joining is noticed.
The agenda for this meet would be To set the goals of the community
and decide the command hierarchy which should now be established to
make the community active.
Saturday , 30 th May 2009 has been sheduled until now. If all the
members agree to this date then we should proceed otherwise some other
date should be sheduled.
Waiting for your response .

I strongly agree with Ankit and I personally hold this that why we waste time if no one else is interested. We dont see any personal benefit in this. It was just that we wanted to bring some professionalism in our college for the benefit of the college and future passouts including us. We too are students and cant get you into classes by calling your parents, neither we wanna do that
I know it might be difficult to agree on a particular date. So here you can vote.. just edit the number next to the date by increasing it.. the date with maximum number will be set. time will be decided once date is fixed.

30th may +1
2nd june +1
3rd june +1
4rth june +1
That means i have no problem in these dates.. lets not make it more late.. otherwise we'll lose the hostellers.

@Ankit, I know my mail is off topic :P
Its we "the seniors" who asked you to call us sir and mam.. not our fault because we were taught the same.
Actually its only in India and Forces (like military, air force ..) where the seniors are called as sir and mam. In professional communication, specially international.. the people are called my names only. And it is specific to mailing lists and chatting that you should not use sir or mam.. because you never know (from nicknames ) whether you are talking to a male or female. I, myself , have faced embarassment due to this.
I cant resist sharing facts. :P
well Ankur! you can take our names without sir and mam atleast in mails and chats. :)

I see there is very less people interested in this community thing.. it appears to me as failing..
But finally we have been able to schedule a meeting with few people.
Day : Monday , June 1
Time : 12.45
Venue : College Library (Gather here and then we 'll get a Lab to sit and talk).
