Hello everyone,
The college has officially reopened. For the Students and fellow members interested in Computer Society.. lets have a quick brainstorming on what and how to proceed further. I'm looking forward to bring popularity to the group(as our first goal). Suggestions are requested on how to achieve this.
Please guys!! wake up. I know most of you have the feeling that "nothing works in KEC" but then come forward to bring the change, at-least give it a try. I alone or with two three more cant bring in the change we can just initiate it and require your support. I need to change my status to "we".
Looking forward to some response.. meanwhile its not only books that can get you a good career nor ranting about college, faculty and others unimportant will.. you like to whine over things but don't want to help change things. (On a filmy note) Don't be the old man with his head in newspaper and then rant about education system in India, though he himself never even supported a change to happen.
During my GSoC adventure, I have a mentor who is a nurse(male) by profession and yet he is into programming (his passion) for more than 20 years(now 36 in age). And he messed with the organisation almost risking my projects success but as he assured me (his words:) "I'm the bull, walls have to give way where I intend".
Now what I want to say that this is the passion people outside India have towards their work, education, career and thought process. We dont need to change the system but change ourself first (from an ever-ranting sudent to a volunteer-to-change).
I'm too tired of giving worthless speeches..I'm tired of trying to ignite it in you that I have with me(that I have been doing since an year, worthless because nobody cares). If you think I have a personal interest in this stuff then you may not be fully wrong but cant you find a personal interest in it to contribute. Why you overlook "what you can gain" to "what the other is gaining."
And if you find me wrong and have something else in mind then express.. Expression is what is required, anyways even if you offend me with your views I cant take your internals :P. Come forward even if you are against what I'm proposing.
Response is what I need..
