As a follow up to my rant (apologies but I was very annoyed!) yesterday, I wanted to thank the kind words of support from people and also the people who had forwarded my email to the Labour Election Agent. Below is his response.

Hi,
I am sorry that someone has put a poster on the post on your land. A couple of people passed on your email and photo and I want to make it clear that as a party we do not agree with fly posting in this manner. Unfortunately we cannot control the action of individuals but this is the first case that I have been made aware ofover many years being involved in local and national elections.
