Dear CSC Chairperson & Officer-in-charge,
Table-tennis is an exciting and fun sport that is suitable for all ages. It is one of the sports that the Community Sports Division has been actively promoting in collaboration with Singapore Table Tennis Association since 2011. This year, Liang Seng Sports Equipment has generously sponsored a good number of Adidas Table Tennis and bats, for the purpose of supporting the forming of Sports Interest Groups (SIG) at the constituency level.
Our current records show that your CSC has not applied for Table Tennis SIG funding from Community Sports division from Year 2011-2013.
However, we understand that some of you do have an existing table tennis group, but has not applied for SIG funding from the Community Sports Division. To support your efforts in promoting table tennis to the residents, we would like to offer one number of the sponsored Table Tennis table and 10 pieces of bats to your CSC.
For CSCs who has not formed any table-tennis SIG, we would like to encourage you to start one by offering your CSC the same sponsored package as above.
Kindly help us by submitting the attached application form to form/register your Table Tennis SIG by 9 September 2013 to my colleague, Mr Hubert Chan at Huber...@pa.gov.sg. You may also contact him at DID: 62382051 if you need further clarifications.
We hope that through this effort, more residents are able to enjoy the sport of table tennis and to make new friends through this great game.
