Dear All,
As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the capabilities of our CSC volunteers, we are pleased to inform you that the Community Sports Section, in partnership with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), will be organising the FAS Community Coach Education Course for our PACFL Coach/parent volunteers.
2 The course will be held from Friday, 14 June to Sunday, 16 June 2013 at the People’s Association Headquarters. The detailed timing are as follows:

3 The course, conducted by FAS appointed trainers, will consist of both theory and practical sessions and will cover topics such as Roles of Coach Educator, Coordination and Skill Development and Organising a Grassroots Carnival.
4 Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued the FAS Community Coach Certificate. Please note that FAS requires participants to attend 100% of the course. Certificate holders are eligible to participate in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) C Coaching Certificate Course, organised by FAS, without having to sit for the AFC prerequisite test (PRET) and the national skills assessment (NSA) provided they continue coaching at PA CFL Centres after this Course for at least one (1) year. 5 We wish to invite your CSC to nominate ONE of your PACFL coach to attend the FAS Community Coach Education Course. The cost of the training will be borne by the Community Sports Section. Please take note of the following when submitting your nomination:
i) Nominee should currently be or will be actively contributing to the PACFL programme;
ii) Nominee must be able to commit to attend the full duration of the course;
iii) Nominee should be able to contribute back to the PACFL programme after attending the course; and
iv) In the event that the nominee did not complete the entire course, the cost of the training may be recovered from respective CSC.
6 We look forward to receiving your nomination using the attached form by Thursday, 30 May 2013.
