Hi everyone

Are there any KCL EAN meetings planned in the next week or so? It would be good to meet up and discuss where the campaign is going after the strikes, and how we are going to relate to and work with the growing anti-cuts movement. I think it would be really good for us to start holding talks on the wider cuts to the public sector and bring in speakers to talk about the NHS, schools, local government and education (schools and colleges rather than universities), raising peoples conciousness beyond the education cuts, and start trying to get students active in the local anti-cuts committees. Speaking to Ashok Kumar from LSE, they have been sending delegates from their students campaign to the Camden anti-cuts groups and taking part in their actions, perhaps KCL should do something similar?

I'm meeting student nurses at 4pm on Monday at the Franklin-Wilkins building canteen to discuss campaigning against the NHS reforms. Anyone is welcome to join who is interested. This may be the next big campaign as its an attack on everyone, and the whole of society can potentially get involved to defend the NHS. We'll probably try and arrange a public meeting at Waterloo campus after the Easter break. If anyone wants to help organise a meeting at the Strand that would be great, and we'd appreciate your input.

Hope you're all well and I'll see you soon.

Friday 6pm in current office? We have to move out of office into a new one and it will be a lot of work tidying it all up so if we meet at 6 and get started, emilie tapping is coming to help us move stuff at 6.30 and apparently we have a team of people coming to take the boxes to the new place. So we could have a meeting once weve settled in. Or if that doesnt work i guess we can come in earlier? Xx

I can only meet earlier, what about meeting at 3 then tidying up and
moving. That way we are not tired out from moving when we start the
meeting.

I'm genuinely sorry I can't be there, but I have an overwhelming workload that's not helped by the fact I have to go to NUS conference next week.

The room is GFSB4b and the key can be claimed by probably anyone in this group so long as they take their ID card to the security office. If this meeting is confirmed by anyone following my message, I will ask Lukas to also do a text-around as he has many peoples' numbers.

Hope to see you all v.soon friends! x

Please respond to this email as soon as possible, as I am soon unplugging all my electrical devices and moving to the woods. And this should go without saying, but you should NOT print this message, since the more you print, the less woods I will have left to live in.
