Subject: The Reliever with MPF

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

I hope this email reaches you in the best of health and full of barokah for you and your family.

I would like to personally request from you and your organisations to help broadcast and publicize a 1-day workshop organized by MPF with Imam Suhaib Webb on 14th June 2014.

This event is a combination of both 'ilm and activism. Part of the proceeds will to go to "Carefugees", a project that MPF has been doing since last year to help refugees in Malaysia, especially the Muslims as they go through Ramadan.

On a different but related note, if any of you or your organisation are interested to sponsor a few of the seats for those who would like to attend but cannot afford to, like the students, we are more than happy to accommodate, Insyaa Allah.

Jazakallah khair kathiran.

May Allah allow us to meet the blessed month of Ramadan. Ameen.

Sincerely

Yuzaidi Yusoff

MPF

“Al-Munfarija (The Reliever). Memorized and recited by Muslim from Africa to South East Asia for hundreds of years, it is not only a book of theology and spirituality, but a practice, authenticated by Muslims as a collective, who used it to make sense out of chaos, understand test and keep a positive outlook regardless of their language, ethnicity or location. The following is an excerpt from the text.

Line Three

وصحاب الخير له مطر فإذا جاء الإبان يجى

“And (huge-intimidating) clouds carry rain. So, when its time comes, it pours.”

Explanation

Difficulties bellow into our lives like large clouds that beckon a storm. In the cloud’s darkness, with their howling winds and thunder the blessing for rain is found. Tests may seem intimidating at first, but just like those large clouds, there are blessings to be found. When those blessing and their quantity is left to the wisdom of God alone. The believer’s job is to weather the storm. To race to God’s shelter!”
